Switch on what you need, leave the rest off

Software that can do everything is usually software in which you can't find anything. In Doory you switch more than 15 modules on or off per building, and the menu only shows what is switched on. Everything is included in the price of €250 per building per month plus €1.50 per member per month, so switching a module on costs nothing extra.

Why this is more than a setting

Most property management software presents a complete package, and in practice that means a menu with thirty items of which you use eight. New staff lose their way, and you end up with half-configured functionality that nobody trusts. That is worse than not having a feature at all.

What can be switched on or off per building

Coworking and day passes, the gym, events, the service catalogue, the parcels module, visitor registration, the kiosk, surveys, the lock integration: all per building. An office building with long-term tenants and no fitness room doesn't have the gym module, so it doesn't appear in the menu either. A coworking location in the same portfolio does have day passes and public checkout switched on.

The basics are always on: buildings, units, companies, members, contracts and invoicing. That is what your building runs on.

Why this makes a quick start possible

Because you don't have to set everything up before you can open. You switch on what you need in week one, and the rest later. That is one of the reasons a building can be live within two weeks. The onboarding hub keeps track of what is still open, so a module you switch on in month three is set up from the same overview.

Why you shouldn't switch everything on

Every module you switch on is a promise to your tenants. If you switch events on and don't organise any, there is an empty page in the portal. Only switch the service catalogue on if you can actually deliver the services. Switching on costs no money, but a module that doesn't work in practice costs you trust.

What you can still change later

Everything. Switching a module off doesn't delete your data, it just disappears from the menu. If you switch it back on later, what was there is still there.
