Keys and access that keep pace with your records
Access is where your records and the physical world meet. Doory's iLOQ integration makes sure that a member you activate automatically gets the right keys and access groups, and that this access disappears as soon as they leave. For each company, the door log shows who came in and when.
The key list is always behind
In practice there are two systems: your records and the lock management. A new employee at a tenant is added in one system and forgotten in the other, or the other way round. The same happens when someone leaves, and that is the dangerous side: someone who no longer works for the tenant but can still get in.
What automatic provisioning means
You set up access groups for each building: front door, floor, own unit, shared spaces. You assign a member the groups that match their company and its allocation. When you activate the member, Doory sets up the permissions in iLOQ without anyone having to do anything separately. When you set them to inactive, the permissions are revoked.
That makes the member records the source, and the lock follows. One action instead of updating two systems, and it is recorded in the audit log.
The door log per company
For each company you can see who entered and when. That isn't surveillance of individuals but a practical tool: after an incident you know who was in the building, and in a discussion about use of the shared spaces you have figures. The same information is the basis for marking no-shows on room bookings.
This calls for a conversation about privacy. Access data is personal data, so record why you keep it and for how long. Doory supports this with versioned privacy statements and an automatic retention policy, but the choice is yours.
Diagnostics
Hardware integrations occasionally go wrong: a lock that is offline, a key that hasn't been updated. In Doory you can see the status of the integration and of individual provisioning actions, so you know whether the problem lies with the lock or with the permissions. That saves the familiar phone call in which nobody can say why the door won't open.
Where the product stops
Doory manages the permissions, not the hardware. Locks, cylinders and their maintenance remain with iLOQ and your installer.
