Tenant email filed with the right tenant

Hands on a laptop with a phone beside it

Most of what you know about a tenant sits in someone's mailbox, invisible to the rest of your team. With the Microsoft 365 integration, all email correspondence with tenants automatically appears with the right company and the right person.

What happens when someone is on holiday

The colleague who takes over does not know what was agreed. They email the tenant with a question that was answered two weeks earlier, or they promise something that clashes with an earlier agreement. When an employee leaves, it is worse: the history disappears along with the mailbox.

How the sync works

You connect your Microsoft 365 mailbox. Doory looks at the senders and recipients and links the correspondence to the company and the contact person in the company file. The file then shows the email history alongside the contracts, the invoices, the requests and the service requests.

You keep emailing the way you are used to, in Outlook. There is no new inbox and no new program. The integration simply makes sure the conversation is also where the rest of the tenant information is.

Why it is worth it

Because the questions you get almost always need context. A tenant calling about their invoice, a discussion about the notice period, a complaint that came up before: in every case you want to see what was said earlier. One click in the company file is faster than searching a mailbox you do not have access to.

What to discuss before you switch it on

Privacy. Business email with tenants contains personal data, and a colleague who opens the file sees that conversation. Decide who may see which files using the roles and permissions, and set how long you keep correspondence. Doory supports a retention policy, but the choice is yours.

Discuss it with your team as well. A mailbox that is being read along with feels different from a folder of contracts, even if it only concerns tenant correspondence.
