The screen you start your day with

In the morning you need three things: who is coming in today, which contracts need attention, and what is still open. The Doory dashboard puts that on your home screen: today's guests, upcoming renewals and expiring contracts.

Why a home page full of charts does not help

Most dashboards show how the last quarter went. That is interesting once a month, not every morning. What you need in the morning are the things that require action today or this week. Right now those usually live in someone's head, in a calendar entry or on a sticky note.

What is on the dashboard

Today's guests. Who is coming, to see whom and at what time. Reception works from this all day, and you know whether forty people are walking in at 10:00.

Upcoming renewals. Contracts that need a decision soon, based on the notice period and the break options in the contract, not just the end date.

Expiring contracts. What is actually ending, and therefore which units become available. That is the information you need before you start letting new space.

Why this brings order

Because it separates the two kinds of work that otherwise get mixed up. Today (guests, bookings, requests) and later (renewals, expiring contracts). Without that separation, a day is taken up by whatever comes in, and the contracts sit there until they can no longer wait.

Who sees a different screen

What you see on the dashboard depends on your permissions. Someone in a finance role gets more out of the outstanding invoices and the billing run, someone in an operational role out of today's guests and requests. You control this with the roles and permissions from the foundation.

What it is not

It is not a management report. The dashboard is meant to start your day. For the figures on the month or the quarter, the analytics console is the place to go.
