Automated emails in your own branding
Every system sends emails, and those emails are often the only part of your software a tenant sees. In Doory you customise eight transactional emails per building: invitation, booking confirmation, parcel notification and the rest, with that building's colours, logo and brand name.
Why standard emails stand out
A member receives an invitation to the portal and a confirmation of every meeting room booking. If those show the name of a software vendor, or a template in a different colour from your building, it feels like a system that was bought in on the side. In a building that presents itself as a brand, with its own name and branding, that is a missed opportunity.
And it's about more than appearance. A standard email never contains the practical information that belongs to your building: where to report on arrival, which entrance is open after 6pm, which number to call if something breaks down.
Which emails you customise
The eight transactional emails Doory sends, including the invitation for a new member, the confirmation of a booking, the notification that a parcel has arrived and the announcement of an event. Per building, because a building with its own brand name needs its own copy.
You adjust the text and the layout follows the branding you have set per building. So you don't have to choose colours for each email.
What to put in that copy
The information the front desk now gives over the phone. In a booking confirmation: which floor the room is on and whether guests need to be registered. In a parcel notification: until what time reception is open. Those are the emails that take away the most questions, and customising them costs you one afternoon, once.
What not to do
Make them too long. A transactional email is scanned, not read. One thing at the top, the practical details below, and nothing else.
