Everything a member needs in one app
Members currently have a portal for one thing, a booking tool for another and a key for the door. The Doory app for iOS and Android brings that together: bookings, access, requests, services, events, parcels, visitors and the gym, with push notifications.
Why this matters to the operator
Because every separate tool is a reason to call the front desk. A member who doesn't know where to submit a request walks downstairs. Someone who wants to register their guest and doesn't know how emails you. Every channel you offer that isn't used comes back as a question for your team.
What a member does in the app
Book a room or flex desk and see their credit balance. View their access in the access tab. Submit a request with a photo of the problem. Order a service from the service catalogue and follow the conversation about it. Sign up for an event. See that a parcel has arrived and collect it with a QR code. Register a guest. Reserve a gym slot.
Push notifications are part of it: the guest has checked in, the parcel is waiting, the request has been resolved, the booking has been moved. According to the preferences the member has set themselves.
Why the app uses the same data
There is no separate app administration. What a member sees in the app is what is in Doory: their company, their allocation, their credits, their access. If they are deactivated, the app stops working for them and their access disappears at the same moment.
What it asks of you
That you explain it at move-in. An app nobody knows about is an app nobody uses, and then the emails keep coming. Include it in the move-in moment and in the introduction for new employees of your tenants. After a few weeks, most questions no longer go through the front desk.
